Reflections

In this class, my greatest accomplishment was probably finding out how to use Photoshop.  It is simpler than I expected it to be.   I feel that if I have the time, I will probably be using Photoshop more and more.

My greatest challenge was probably Dreamweaver.  Out of the three it was the most difficult.  It wasn't bad but finding the time to do all these different things was difficult.  I did like the pay off though, creating something for yourself and calling it your own was a nice feeling.

Video Project

My video project is about campus etiquette. 

Some props I will use are cameras, pencils, maybe a cell phone, and possibly some other props that most college and/or high school students would have.

I will work with Sierra and Teresa on this project.

Website Thoughts

Recently I created a website and showed it to the class.  I learned that making a website takes work and creativity.  With dreamweaver the difficult factor lowers a bit but it still takes some knowledge to know how to work the program.
If I knew how to easily code social network (the movie) style then creating websites and programing is actually more fun.
When I had Photoshopped those two gifs, I felt thoroughly content with myself.  I think creating websites might be pretty cool if I can get more advanced.
If I could, i would go back and clean it up, maybe find wallpapers that fit the background without repeating.

Dreamweaver

Today we worked on building websites.  Dream weaver seems like a pretty easy too to use.  I like the concept of you see what you get.  It's nice to see exactly what you are doing and how you are doing it.  Once I learned how to link things, it made everything seem possible and much more simpler than it really is. 
I hope that in the future we can get into more complicated stuff.

What have I learned about web design?

I learned that it looks very complicated and probably takes alot of time.  Also found out how easy it would be to mess up if I were to accidently write down the wrong thing.

What will my website be about?

Probably something showcasing my hobbies or what i do during my free time.  IT might even show case my interests or my tastes in things,

Traveler V2

Traveler Photoshop

This is my book cover for our recent project for our class.  The main idea for this book is that there is a Man with the ability to travel between several worlds to try to find out who or what is making disturbances in them. 

Scaling Project

We did a scaling project yesterday.  I took a picture of myself and placed it one those things that can be seen around campus.  I wanted to go for a superhero look so i felt that the words on the pole along with my stance reflected my purpose.

Flash Drive

I lost my flash drive in then photoshop class room.  If anyone finds it can he or she please return it to me.

Devil Sheen

I actually liked this assignment.  If I had more time, I would have drastically changed the appearance but i liked the way it turned out.  This is the before and after of a Charlie Sheen picture I pulled from the internet.  I thought it was pretty cool.  I mean no offense to the actor.

House Typography

It's a house.  I filled it with adjectives that describe the house, and objects that can be found in one.This was for the typography assignment.  I liked how it turned out but with more work I could probably make it into more of a house than it is.

Tardis Shirt

This is the shirt I made for my fourth project.  WE had to create a design for a shirt that we would create.  I am proud of this shirt because i really like the show Doctor Who.  Also with the premiere of Season 7 coming so close, I thought that this would be the most appropriate theme for the upcoming event.

Billboard

I decided, for my second Photoshop project, to make a motivational billboard.  The idea is that when people look up, they see this billboard and feel pretty good about themselves. I liked how it turned out but I'd like to come back to it a different time when my skills have improved.

Photoshop

This is my first Photoshop picture.  It is very beginners but i hope that I can improve on my skills.  I'll probably come back to this in the future and improve once I  get a handle on what i am doing. 
As the words suggest i am a very passive and friendly person.  I always like to help and will most likely not try to cause trouble. 

Summer

This summer was relatively boring.  I had classes that I had to take to get my 2 year plan on the right track.  It was tedious as it felt like my break had not begun yet but once it started, I felt that I could relax.  I was wrong though as I had to serve as a taxi driver for my sister and he activities regarding her school.  My summer was short but the times that I had to myself were the best.
